Start with one real task. Tell Dino what you need, check the answer, and refine it together.
Create an account and get ready
- Create an account with your email and a password. Dino Chat is for adults 18 and older; review the terms and privacy information.
- Verify your email using the link sent to you. Check spam or request another link from account settings if needed.
- Open Billing. When subscriptions are available, choose $16.99/month or $189.99/year in USD and add your card at checkout. Eligible accounts can start one 7-day free trial when available.
- Return to Billing and confirm your trial or paid access. Check the exact trial end time and selected plan’s first charge. Cancel before that time to avoid the automatic charge: $16.99 monthly or $189.99 annually. A checkout return page alone does not confirm access.
- Open Chat, leave the model on Auto, and try a task below. AI and photo uploads require verified trial or paid access. A guest visit does not start a trial.
If email, subscriptions, or AI are unavailable, follow the message shown in the app or contact support. Creating an account does not automatically start a subscription.
Six useful first tasks
Explain a letter or photo
Explain this letter in plain English. List the deadlines and questions I should ask.
Paste the text or attach a clear photo. Crop out account numbers and other details the task does not need.
Plan something practical
Plan five easy dinners for two people, with a $60 grocery budget and no peanuts.
Give Dino the budget, time, people, and constraints. Ask for a shopping list or a short checklist.
Compare choices
Compare these two phone plans using the prices I pasted. Show the tradeoffs in a table.
Supply the actual options. Ask Dino to separate facts, assumptions, and what still needs checking.
Look up current information
Look up the current opening hours for this museum and link to the official source.
Ask explicitly for a lookup and sources. Live search must be available; a confident answer alone does not prove a search happened.
Work on a document
Draft a one-page meeting agenda with goals, discussion topics, and next steps.
Ask for a draft or revision in chat. Uploads currently support images, so paste document text rather than attaching a PDF or Word file.
Ask for the result you actually need
A useful prompt includes the task, relevant context, constraints, and output format. For example: “Draft a reply to this school email. I can attend Tuesday after 3. Keep it friendly and under 80 words.”
- Paste the information Dino needs instead of assuming it knows your situation.
- Name the audience, length, budget, date, or format when those matter.
- Follow up with “make it shorter,” “show your assumptions,” or “give me three alternatives.”
- Ask for sources when facts need to be current. Check important details against the original source.
Attach photos, not document files
Attach JPEG, PNG, or WebP images up to 5 MB each. Use Auto, Flash, or Gemini for photo questions; Pro is a text-only choice. Keep the text in the photo readable and say what you want Dino to examine.
Image storage is limited to 100 images and 100 MiB per account, shared by uploads and generated pictures. Upload attempts are limited to 30 per hour. If storage is full, remove saved pictures or contact support. PDF, Word, and spreadsheet uploads are not currently supported.
Understand the monthly AI allowance
The trial includes $2.00 of AI usage total for its 7 days. After the first confirmed paid charge, both subscription plans include $8 of AI usage each month. This is a shared allowance based on the cost of AI calls and enabled metered tools, including supporting work behind a reply. It is not a promise of a fixed number of messages or pictures.
The yearly plan also refreshes the allowance monthly, on the paid subscription anniversary date; shorter months use their last day where needed. Unused trial or paid allowance does not roll over, and there are no automatic overage charges. A trial starts automatic renewal unless canceled before its exact end time; exhausting its allowance does not cancel it. Check Billing for your current usage and access status.
Choose what Dino remembers
Cross-chat memory is opt-in. In Settings, use “Remember helpful details across chats” to choose whether Dino may keep helpful notes. Review, edit, or forget those notes through the memory controls. Turning memory off does not delete your conversations.
The conversational Dino assistant can offer contextual help. Use Less help or turn proactive help off when you want fewer interruptions. Writing tips have their own control in Settings.
Connected tools need their own availability
Live search, picture generation, and read-aloud depend on enabled services and paid allowance. Your browser may also need microphone or camera permission for voice input or taking a photo.
Google Calendar is optional and requires an explicit account connection in Settings. Choosing Gemini does not connect your Google account or read your email. Review any proposed calendar change and approve it before a supported action runs. If a tool is unavailable, paste the relevant information and ask Dino to help plan or draft.

Dino can make mistakes. Review drafts before sharing them, and confirm medical, legal, financial, safety, and other consequential decisions with an appropriate professional.
