Dino Chat is made by Barney Global LLC. This page is the short, honest version of what happens to what you type, photograph, or keep.
What we keep
Account email, a protected password hash, verification and session records, chats, uploaded photos, saved answers, Dino preferences and usage records support the app. Cross-chat memory is opt-in and keeps selected helpful notes. Some state is stored on your device, while accounts and connected features also use server storage. A guest session is not a promise of device-only storage.
What we do not do
We do not sell your conversations. We do not use them to train models that other people then talk to. We do not put your mail, bills, or photos on a public page.
Who else sees it
Hosting and AI requests use Vercel, including AI Gateway and its selected model providers; private images use Vercel Blob. Account and app records use Supabase Postgres. Shared gift/presence features use Upstash Redis. When enabled, search uses Tavily, subscription payments use Stripe, and account email uses the configured email provider. Optional connected Calendar and paid voice need their own setup and permissions. Relevant task content is sent to the services needed to process it; selecting a model does not connect your Google account.
Your controls
Settings includes account export, password and deletion controls, plus controls to review or forget memory and turn it off. Turning memory off does not delete chat history. Account deletion may require billing cancellation and pending work to finish first. Downloads, emails and files saved outside the app are separate copies. Feedback and email updates
The feedback form prepares a draft on your screen. It does not save or send that draft to our server. If you send it from your email account, your email service and our inbox process the message and sender address so we can review and respond. Do not include private chat contents or sensitive account details.
Dino Dispatch signup is not available yet. An account, payment, or feedback message does not enroll you in marketing. Before signup opens, we will explain the mailing provider and consent choices. Marketing will be optional and include unsubscribe controls; essential account and billing email is separate.
Analytics (PostHog) and crash reports (Sentry) stay off until those keys are added. When they are on, they see taps and errors, not the full text of your chats.
